This document describes how a user will map their network drive.
Pre-requisites:
- The drive has been created in cloud.market
- User has been created and given permission to access the drive
The user will need the following information:
- The drive URL – this will be provided by CLICS and can be copied from there.
- The username and password which will have been specified by CLICS IT
HOW TO MAP THE DRIVE:
Open File Explorer, right-click This PC and select Map network drive
In the resulting dialog, paste the URL for the network drive and click Finish:
You will be prompted for your username and password – enter these and click OK. Optionally, tick ‘Remember my credentials’ to avoid having to enter them again:
The mapped drive will now open. You can use this like any other folder on your PC, drag/drop files and folders, etc.
If you wish to remove the mapped drive, right-click the drive, select Disconnect and confirm by clicking Yes in the resulting dialog:
